アジア現代経済研究所 (Contemporary Asian Economy Research Institute) は特定非営利活動法人として2008年11月に設立された。国際シンポや研究会などを積み重ねて英文雑誌を創刊した。
日中を中心にアジア地域内の学術交流と経済協力を目指して，アジア経済の諸問題（東アジア地域協力，通貨問題，資本市場，工業化，都市化，貧困問題，労働力市場，農業問題，産業構造，人的資本，社会保障，財産制度，経済サイクル，国際化問題など）を扱う予定という。
大学や行政機関としての研究所・研究組織とは別にこうしたNPOが研究組織を作る例はあまりないように思う。1冊3,150円（年間4期で12,000円）は安くはないが，応援したくなる。下記サイトでアブストラクトを読むことができる。会員になればデジタル版をダウンロードできるとある。
